CSP Technology Day will be held on 21 October with the collaboration of CSP ERANET and H2020-SOCRATCES project as part of the EUSEW 2021 Sustainable Energy Days.
This event aims to present the achievements and further challenges of CSP and present upcoming funding opportunities in the sector to keep feeding the development of this promising sustainable technology.
At the end of the event, a brokerage event will be organized to encourage the participants to express their interest in CSP call topics and to present their project ideas.

10:15 – 11:30 (CET) Round table: SOCRATCES & Challenges of CSP
General overview of the CSP technology and H2020 SOCRATCES project, followed by 3 main expert blocks (15 minutes each):
1. Challenges to increase performance and reduce costs in CSP and solar technologies
2. New materials challenges
3. Energy storage challenges

11:40 - 12:30 (CET) Funding opportunities of the CSP Technology
1. Introduction to Horizon Europe CSP related topics, by Cristina Garrido (CDTI, NCP CLV Energy Spain)
2. CSP ERANET Additional Call Promotion
Presentation of the call: scope and topics, participating countries, funding eligibility criteria and national requirements. Successful experiences session with CSP 1st call funded project coordinators.
12:30 – 13:15 (CET) CSP Brokerage Event (CSP topics in HE, CETP & CSP ERANET)
Participants are encouraged to express their interest in upcoming CSP (HE and/or CSP ERANET) topics, present their project ideas and search for partners.
